Chapter 2 (In which I get an agent)

Some days–the best ones–launch you gleefully in a new direction. I just had one of those days.

After careful thought and an impromptu reenactment of the Snoopy happy dance, I have signed with agent Laura Bradford of the Bradford Literary Agency.

I’m excited to work with Laura because of her expertise, her insights about my book, and because she tweeted a photo of herself putting Star Wars stickers on her client’s royalty checks. I want that sticker.

Soon, Laura will be pitching my new adult romance, Tell Me How This Ends, to publishers. Hopefully that will lead to another best day, in which the book is published.

Thanks to the Contemporary Romance RWA chapter for sponsoring the contest that brought me to Laura’s attention, and to all of you for supporting me as I navigate my writing career. As always, I’ll keep you posted.
